Oh Canada! - Five Iron Frenzy - Not actually 'O Canada', but a ska song singing the praises of the greatest, freeist nation on the western hemisphere.
Star-Spangled Banner - Rivers Cuomo (of weezer) - Kinda says it all right there in that bracket. Only version I've ever heard and liked.
America, Fuck Yeah (Bummer Remix) - Team America - There's no way I would put the regular version ahead of this one after a Bush victory.

Breakfast at Denny's - Combusitble Edison - Weirdest lounge/elevator/tripped out/dreamy music I know of. Awesome band, and a great instrumental one with some memories lurking in its title.
Bring the Rhino Across - Chris Lawson - Semi-professional friend of a friend. Silly as hell, very light and funny.
Monkey on Your Back - Clinic - I love Clinic. Fucking great band.

Hit Me! - The Sounds - Great swedish 80s-sounding band with a great peppy yet angry song about physical abuse.

Hand Springs - The White Stripes - A favorite of mine for years. A spoken word song where the chorus has no lyrics, fleshing out an entire story brimming with typical de stijl White Stripes visuals that come to mind. Old B-side for a vinyl single.
GT400 - Thee Michelle Gun Elephant - Again, credit owed to Rob Andrews on this one. It remains a favourite.
Huun Huur Tu - Tuvan Internationale - Someone sent me this a long time ago... and I gotta say... I love it. No idea why.
Loop de Loop - Ween - A short one-minuter for the Spongebob Squarepants soundtrack.
Pickin' The Chicken - Speedy West and Jimmy Bryant - Amazing guitar playing, sounds like a chicken, very cartoony tune. Sent to me by a friend from VFS.
The Rodeo Song - David Alan Coe - Going even more country with this one we got a classic of my film school years, pissing off an irrelevent teacher because of its language.
Rodeohead - Hard n' Phirm - A medley of Radiohead songs both new and old in a very funny classic country/square-dancin'/rodeo manner.
Wayfaring Stranger - Jack White - From the Cold Mountain soundtrack. Jack White did a number of songs for it. This is one of my favorites. Very old country, yet very close to the grassroots sound of "O Brother, Where Art Thou?".
Liquor and Whores - Bubbles - Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys that is. Funny song, gets played on the radio here a lot.
Whisky in the Morning - Buck Cherry - Love this song. Inspired me to drink many a morn during my 2001 depression/unemployment year. Never been able to burn it with the program on my last computer. Works on the new one though.
Garage Dayz Nite - Beatallica- Rob Jones is credited with this one. As you'd guess from the name of the band, its by a band that crosses Metallica-like lyrics, metal sound and vocal stylings to Beatles classics.
Tonight is the Night I Fell Asleep at the Wheel - Barenaked Ladies - Tip the hat at Rob Andrews again ladies and gentlemen, I love this song and he's to blame. Unfortunately now it also reminds me of Michelle's friend's boyfriend who tragically fell asleep at the wheel recently. He worked a LOT of hours I'm told. Rest in peace.
Diary of an Unborn Child - Li'l Markie - In keeping with the theme of death a nutty anti-abortion song from the 60s or so that many readers will most likely remember from a post on RoBlog.
